Amazon Unveils Its Delivery Drone of the Future

Amazon unveiled a prototype drone yesterday that could one day deliver packages to online shoppers' doorsteps just minutes after they press the "buy" button.

The new drone, or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), was created for Prime Air, a same-day delivery service that Amazon first announced in 2013. In the new YouTube video yesterday (Nov. 29) describing this futuristic service, the company said that its small drones (they weigh just 55 pounds, or 25 kilograms) could deliver packages in 30 minutes or less. However, you won't be able to get that new bowling ball shipped to you via Prime Air; the drones can only deliver packages weighing 5 lbs. (2.3 kg) or less.

Embedded with "sense-and-avoid" technology, the highly autonomous UAVs can safely fly beyond an operator's line of sight, according to Amazon, which also stated that the delivery vehicles can carry packages to customers within a 10-mile (16 kilometers) radius of an Amazon warehouse.

Pit Of Hell: Lady claims late Prince Abubakar Audu's son raped her

While the people of Kogi State and indeed Nigerians mourned the demise of Prince Abubakar Audu, the former state governor who was contesting for the 2015 gubernatorial elections on Saturday, November 21, one lady who goes by the nameEmpress Sugarbelly on her Twitter account, was jumping up in joy.

Innocent looking Empress Sugarbelly

Her joy, according to her, came because the late Audu's sons,Mustapha, Kabir, Bashir and their cousin, Jibrin, and his friends, regularly raped her repeatedly.

This is how she started her series of tweets:

"The Prince Audu I knew was a monster, and I am glad he is dead, and I spit and I dance on his grave."
She followed up with this:

"The only thing better than Prince Abubakar Audu dying today would be if all his sons could hurry up and die too."And this:
"I'm so happy he's dead, God please hurry up and take Mustapha, Kabir, and Bashir too, and that their animal of a c ousin called Jibrin."
Recalling how Mustapha and his friends raped her repeatedly, she wrote:
"He will choke me while f***ing me. I cried and begged him but he will get angry and say I was ruining his flow.
Whenever I did not do what he or his friends wanted, he would hit me and drag me by my hair. So I learnt to be obedient.
He used to bring new friends every time. He did other unpleasant things like burn me and hold my head under water while his friends f***ed me, but that was only once or twice. I was in love with him and inside, I kept hoping he didn’t mean it and if I was obedient enough, he would go back to being the sweet guy i met."
Since her first tweet, she has been heating up with more revelations and when many people tweeted insults at her for what she has been putting up, she took her time to give an extensive narration of what she went through in the hands of the man.

Read what she wrote:
"Every time I see a white Nissan Altima, my palms go sweaty, and my knees get weak. It’s an involuntary reaction born of so many nights being driven around Asokoro pinned to the floor of Tunji’s white Nissan Altima, barely able to breathe, the stench of weed stinging my eyes while I choked on the penis of whomever it pleased Mustapha to force me to pleasure that day.

I can’t have music playing while driving around in a car either. Or just sitting around at home. I can’t have music playing period. Especially not Maroon5. If I get into your car, please drive in fucking silence or you will make it hard for me to breathe.
Right now, there are thousands of people running wild with their “opinions”, talking authoritatively about what Mustapha, Abdul, Tunji, and their band of friends and brothers did to me, as if they were there. As if they hovered around us unseen like evil spirits, listening to everything that was said, seeing everything that happened, as if they know.

3 things that happened on last night's episode

From guest stars to good music, and of course drama twist, last night's episode of "Empire" has got fans talking.
Titled "Sinned Against," the episode had Alicia Keys make her debut on show, and ended with a scene that had fans wondering "what exactly is going on?"

1. Anika is obsessed with her ex lovers son, Hakeem, who also happens to be the father of her child.
Hakeem invited Anika over to confront her, and then Anika insisted that Hakeem was just scared of admitting his feelings for her."stop fighting it!" "You love me," she yelled at him. “You will never be one of us. You will never be a Lyon, ever!” Hakeem replied

2. Cookie finally knows Laz is nothing but a snitch. There was also a very tense moment between Lucious and Laz.Cookie snatched her gun, handed it over to Lucious and left the room. (Someone was really heartbroken.)

3. "Sinned Against," came to an end with Jamal and Skye Summers (Alicia Keys) performing a a new song, and then sealing it with a passionate kiss. (Maybe Jamal isn't so gay afterall).

Next episode and midseason finale of "Empire" airs Wednesday, December 2, 2015.

If you’re planning to head out into the fray on Black Friday, chances are you’ve got a gadget on your shopping list.

Electronics have traditionally been popular among bargain-hunters during the annual sales bonanza, accounting for some of the most-wanted ‘doorbuster’ deals. Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, has stocked up on more than 1 million TVs this year in anticipation of high demand.

But is it worth standing in line in the cold on Thanksgiving evening or in the wee hours of Black Friday, dodging the elbows of fellow shoppers to snag a discount of around 15%?

That’s how much you’ll save on average on consumer electronics, computers and phones if you wait to buy them on Black Friday, according to data from WalletHub.

Analysts at the personal finance site compared the prices across a broad selection of items between Oct 26 and Nov 19 to their advertised prices on Black Friday. They found that shoppers can expect an additional discount of 14% on phones and computers and 17% on other consumer electronics.

The best deals to be had, per WalletHub’s analysis, are on movies, books and music (28% off pre-Black Friday prices), video games (22% off) and toys (22%).

And if you’re thinking of entering the Black Friday melee to procure a little sparkle for a loved one, you might want to consider waiting. Jewelry will be discounted by an average of just 4%.

If you’re looking to redecorate, you’ll also want to check Black Friday ads carefully for specific savings. The category averages a discount of 8%.

Of course, there are terrific deals to be had across every category, including in the ever-popular electronics aisle. WalletHub compiled a list of the biggest savings at most of the large retail chains frequented by those seeking Black Friday bargains, including

52-yr-old man arrested for kidnapping, raping 14-yr-old boy

The suspect, Hassan Muhammad

Hassan Muhammad, a 52-year-old man based in Maje village on the outskirt of Suleja, Niger State, has been arrested by the State Police Command for allegedly abducting a 14-year-old boy and sodomising him for two months before he was rescued, Daily Trust reports.
The Sokoto State born Muhammad, a trader and father of seven, was first arrested by members of the Suleja Emirate Vigilante operating in the area before he handed over to the Suleja Police Area Command, where he was currently being held.
The victim, who is currently on admission at the Suleja General Hospital, told reporters that Muhammad met him two months ago at Lambata village along Suleja-Minna road, where he lives with an Islamic instructor as an Almajiri at the cleric’s informal school.
During the encounter, the boy said Muhammad lured him to join him in his business of selling dresses at Maje, where he has a shop and the boy seeing an opportunity in the horizon, agreed to go with him.
The the suspect took him to a village market where he sold his wares and they then returned to his base.
The victim further alleged that Muhammad used to have homosexual sex with him inside his shop.
He said on the first night, he woke up to find himself half-naked with the man beside him cleaning his private part. The victim further disclosed that the man usually locked him in the shop anytime he was away but always together in the shop whenever he was around.
He alleged that the man used to rape him twice in a week.

NOKIA GET POWERED BY ANDROID

The rumoured Nokia C1, the smartphone that has been in leaks since late last year, has now surfaced in a new render image on the Web. While all the leaks and rumours until now pointed out the handset to run Android with the company's Z Launcher, the new render shows the smartphone to run Windows 10 OS as well - tipping the handset could be offered in two variants for the two operating systems.
The leaked image render for the Nokia C1 shows the handset in White, Gold, Pink, and Grey colour variants alongside two more units. While the unit in foreground is seen running the Nokia Z Launcher for Android, the one in the background (right side) is seen running Windows 10 Mobile. The tipster who leaked the image said (via Nokiapoweruser) that the handset will arrive in both OS versions.
In addition, while a leaked image from September showed the smartphone's rear camera at the centre, the latest render shows it placed on the top-left corner. Since Nokia is still silent on the matter, the latest leaked render should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Going by past leaks and rumours, the Nokia C1 is tipped to include a 5-inch FHD display, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. It is said to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well. Previous reports have suggested that the Nokia C1 will be powered by an Intel chipset and feature 2GB of RAM.
It needs to be pointed out that Nokia can't use its brand on smartphones until Q4 2016, because of theacquisition of its devices and services division by Microsoft. Earlier this year, Nokia announced that it intends to get back in the smartphone business by licensing designs to hardware manufacturers. The Finnish-based technology company, which once held the pole position in the mobile handset market, lost its dominance with the rise of Apple and Android smartphones, and its decision to use Windows Phone as its operating system of choice instead of Android arguably speeded up its demise.
